INFINITY™ Test Strips are essential for accurately measuring blood glucose levels in whole blood when paired with the corresponding INFINITY™ Blood Glucose Meters. These strips are designed for in vitro diagnostic use only, meaning they are intended for testing outside of the body.

When it comes to storage and handling, it is crucial to keep the INFINITY™ test strip vials in a cool, dry place within the temperature range of 46 to 86°F (8-30°C). It is important to avoid direct sunlight, refrigeration, or freezing of the test strips. Store the test strips only in their original vials, without mixing them in new vials or any other container. Always remember to promptly replace the vial cap and securely close it after removing an INFINITY™ Test Strip.

To ensure accuracy, use the test strip immediately after taking it out of the vial. Keep track of the discard date by marking it on the vial label when you first open it. Any remaining INFINITY™ Test Strips should be disposed of 3 months after the vial is initially opened. Prevent contamination by avoiding contact with dirt, food, or water when handling the test strip, and refrain from using wet hands during the process.

For reliable results, never use test strips past their expiration date, as this may lead to inaccurate readings. To maintain the integrity of the strips, do not bend, cut, or alter them in any way. Remember, each INFINITY™ Test Strip is meant for single use only and should not be reused under any circumstances.
